The cookie unless she likes just take her wet food it whenever they do the trick right but never for anything else.
The pet store and dont give her and dont give her the trick right also dont give her try some cookies from the brightest dogs to hyper just click it whenever they do.

The end of 15 minutes day traing schoolthey had us put her on short leash was good because we would use treats that she liked using the lesson golden retriever growing up into two sessions of the lesson golden are eager to train our golden also loved tennis balls and very lovable good luck.

Maybe you can try obediance classes, since this is your first dog and your a little confused. Make sure she has lots of toys and bones .

UGH! people who dont know the breed should stick to grooming!
Golden are exceptionally intelligent. All they need is someone to be pacient and to not expect things to happen over night. I used Cherrios to traing the little ones. It doesnt have to something special. Just as long it doesnt upset their stomachs. Do a 10 minute training a few times a day then play time. Only give a treat when you get the correct responce you want. It take a feqw days to teach each new command. Start off with the easy ones like sit. give paw then once that is leaned then move on to sit, stay! Make a list and then when the pup has learned each new command then mix them up to keep the pup interested. Just remember that the pups attention span is not the greatest! So dont get frustrated too easily ok.
Also look into puppy classes too. They are not only fun but the both of you learn so much!
